Today’s lesson is the difference between your run of the mill car show hotties and these lovely pit girls. A car show model’s job is to show some T&A while acting as skanky as possible, while a pit girl is an essential member of a professional racing team. A pit girl hangs around in the pit lane showing T&A in a cute racing team uniform, doing important things like cheering for drivers and holding up important signs.
The contest to crown the World’s Hottest Olympian came down to a two-woman race between Leryn Franco, the gorgeous Paraguayan javelin thrower, and Alicia Sacramone, the nubile America gymnast. But in the end, Franco’s versatility and experience (she’s a veteran bikini contest competitor and professional model), was too much for Sacramone to overcome. So, here she is – the hottest Olympian of the 2008 games.
Here it is, your chance to once and for all end the debate and crown the World’s Hottest Olympian of 2008.

Notes: She has fared much better in bikini contests than in international javelin competition. Yet, she was a runaway winner of her heat for World’s Hottest Olympian taking almost 70 percent of the vote. She has to be considered the front runner in this contest.

Candian rythmic gymnast Alexandra Orlando who one site put at the top of their top 50? She didn’t even make it into my top 24. In this last heat, Brazilian beach volleyball player Talita Antunes goes against American sprinter Allyson Felix, American gymnast Nastia Liukin, American soccer player Heather Mitts and the U.K.’s heptathalon competitor Kelly Sotherton. In our quest to find the hottest Olympian, American swimmer Amanda Beard faces, Paraguay javelin thrower Leryn Franco, Chinese diver Guo Jing Jing, Italian volleyball player Francesca Piccinini and Australian swimmer Stephanie Rice. While Beard has to be considered the frontrunner because of name recognition, I don’t think you can count out Franco, who is probably the hottest javelin thrower ever.
